icrosoft has updated the list of processors that are compatible with Windows 11. Some older models are now no longer supported.

As the website “XDA-Developers” reports, Google has updated its list of Intel processors that are supported by Windows 11 without much fuss. In the process, a total of 44 Intel Xeon CPUs have been removed from the list of supported processors for Windows 11.
These CPUs are not normally found in everyday PCs, but are instead used mainly in servers. Consumers will therefore probably not be affected by the change. It is not known why Microsoft is not publicly announcing this move.
Windows 11 runs primarily on hardware powered by either 8th-generation Intel CPUs or higher, or Ryzen 2000-series CPUs or higher. The processors that have now been removed are based on the 8th generation, which were already released in 2018.
